One fish, two fish...
One of my favorite Pinterest recipes are these homemade goldfish crackers. They are super cute and people are always impressed by them. They expect them to be hard, but if you can make a cut-out sugar cookie, you can make a goldfish cracker. Even my grand-daughter (who was 4 at the time) helped me make them. She was oddly adamant about having them all face the same way. My hubby even placed one on the sheet going the other direction (up stream, down stream, who knows) and she said, "No Grandpa, you're doing it wrong." My hubby also helped by cutting a ribbon out of his beer can, so I could make the fish shaped cutter. Now with a lot of homemade food you will save money and it's healthier for you and all that jazz, but these are not going to save you money, but they are healthier and fun. Plus I found another use for that little fishy cookie cutter that I made. I used it for noodles in a homemade chicken soup. Here's a link to the original recipe. http://tastykitchen.com/blog/2011/09/homemade-goldfish-crackers/
I'm new at this whole blogging thing, but if you're patient with me and come back often, I will have some really great stuff here. You can say you were one of the first to follow me. Or hopefully I can help you make some great dishes, or at least make you laugh. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope to see you back soon for what will be an entertaining journey.
